Promise Gluten Free Brioche Turkey Burger

Ingredients
For the Turkey Burger:
250g ground turkey
1 small clove garlic, minced
1 tsp Dijon mustard
1 tsp smoked paprika
Salt and pepper, to taste
1 tsp olive oil (for cooking)
For the Toppings:
2 leaves of crisp lettuce
4-6 slices of tomato
2-3 tbsp pickled red onions
For the Bun:
2 Promise Gluten Free Brioche Burger Buns
Optional: 1 tsp butter, for toasting
Instructions
1. Prepare the Turkey Patties:
In a mixing bowl, combine ground turkey, garlic, Dijon mustard, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
Form into 2 evenly sized patties, slightly larger than your buns to account for shrinkage during cooking.
2. Cook the Turkey Patties:
Heat olive oil in a non-stick skillet over medium heat.
Cook patties for 5-7 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked and golden brown in colour. Internal temperature should reach 74°C (165°F).
3. Toast the Buns:
Slice the Promise Gluten Free Brioche Buns in half.
Lightly butter the cut sides and toast in a skillet or oven for 1-2 minutes until golden and slightly crisp.
4. Assemble the Burger:
Place a lettuce leaf on the bottom bun.
Add the cooked turkey patty.
Top with slices of tomato and a generous serving of pickled onions.
Close with the top bun and serve immediately.
