Sourdough Garden Toast

Ingredients:

2 slices Promise Gluten Free Rustic White Sourdough Bread

4–5 tbsp whipped soft cheese

6–8 tenderstem broccoli stems

6 cherry tomatoes, halved

Olive oil

Fresh herbs (basil, chives, or parsley), finely chopped

Salt and black pepper

Optional: a touch of lemon zest for brightness

Instructions:

1. Cook the broccoli: Steam or sauté the tenderstem broccoli for 3–4 minutes until just tender but still bright and crisp. Season lightly with salt.

2. Toast the sourdough: Toast the slices of Promise Rustic White Sourdough until crisp and golden.

3. Spread the cheese: While warm, generously spread the whipped soft cheese over each slice.

4. Assemble the tartine: Arrange the cooked broccoli on top, followed by the cherry tomatoes.

5. Finish with herbs: Drizzle a little olive oil, scatter fresh herbs over the top, and finish with black pepper (and lemon zest if using).

6. Serve: Enjoy as a light lunch, weekend brunch, or elegant appetiser.
